Parking Garage III

Parking Garage III is one of four on Florida Gulf Coast University’s Fort Myers Campus for which OCI Associates provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design.  Parking Garage III is specifically designed to serve students and staff that are visiting Griffin Hall, Howard Hall, McTarnaghan Hall and the Wellness Center. With nearly 236,200 square feet of parking space over three levels, the building safely holds 785 vehicles. The structure is made of over 400 individual pieces of pre-cast concrete that were delivered by truck and set in place. The construction to approximately eight weeks and was completed three months ahead of schedule.
