The Colonial Apartments is a five story, urban infill, mixed-use development project located in the heart of Washington, D.C.’s rapidly expanding 9th Street Corridor surrounded by three of the city’s largest developments. The redeveloped historic 1920’s building has a total of 70 luxury residential units that range from studio apartments to a top floor penthouse. The living spaces are on floors two through five, and the first floor has 8,200 of retail space. Residential amenities include a courtyard, rooftop deck, balconies catering kitchen, controlled access and a bike room. OCI Associates provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and IT systems engineering for this mixed use project.
