OCI provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design for the 5,800 square feet interior renovation project at the McCoy’s Bar & Grill restaurant located on the fourth level of the 445-room Hyatt Regency Hotel. The estimated $1.4 million dollar project underwent major renovations to the entire facility to create more of a new casual “tavern” feel under the design team of KBJ Architects. The updated restaurant includes new booths, tables, chairs, flooring and window treatments and removal of a portion of one wall created an exhibition kitchen. The design included a new entrance doorway from the hotel lobby, and a new lobby sushi bar called “Hiro’s Sushi.”
