OCI Associates, Inc. provided complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design for the new Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) Building at Indian River State College’s Port St. Lucie Pruitt Campus. This four-story building is home to seven laboratories for research in genetic, ecology, chemistry, molecular science, botany, microbiology, and engineering. In addition to the research labs, the STEM building also has computer equipped teaching labs and technology supported classrooms with the capability to receive and transmit presentations between the Indian River State College’s Main Campus and area research institutes.
