OCI Associates, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and IT/ AV Systems for the City of Sanford’s Fort Mellon Park two phase project. The first phase included small and large picnic pavilions, an interactive play fountain and a four tower themed playground for children. Part of the $1 million-dollar project is a grand plaza and lawn to accommodate special events. The basketball courts, gardens, and lakefront overlook allows for a variety of areas for both young and old residents. The 4,624 square foot project also includes public restroom buildings, custom shade structures, park offices, and a mechanical pump building. The planned $1.4 million-dollar second phase design includes a new 1,100 square foot amphitheater.
