OCI Associates provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and IT/AV engineering design for a new 5,500 square foot art center for Stetson University. The Homer and Dolly Hand Art Center is a permanent gallery for the Oscar Bluemner’s art collection and is a museum space. The art center features two galleries for rotating exhibits of the university’s permanent artwork collection and hosting special shows. The building also features a foyer gallery area, a vault, a preparation area, and study rooms. The facility allows Stetson University to preserve, protect and promote collections for students, scholars and art aficionados in the historic quad area of the Deland campus.
