OCI Associates, Inc. provided complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services for a 16,000 square foot Medical Training facility at the Main Campus of Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce, Florida. This two-story building represents a joint partnership between Florida State University and Indian River State College. The Florida State University College of Medicine portion of the complex engages medical students in clinical education with community hospitals and physicians offices while connecting a long distance learning medical training classes throughout the state. The IRSC portion houses programs for Surgical Technology, Medical Assisting, Biotechnology, and Bioinformatics Laboratories.
