OCI Associates, Inc. provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, IT/ AV Systems and exterior site lighting for the new 9,500 square foot single story Joe R. Lee Branch Boys and Girls Club in Eatonville, Florida. This new facility sits on 3 acres and contains administrative areas, multipurpose areas for classrooms space, activity areas and a gymnasium with locker rooms. The club will be able to serve up to 150 children per day who can utilize the computer lab, teen lounge, game room and half-court sports court. The much needed $1.75 million dollar facility replaces a previous Boys & Girls Culb facility in the Eatonville area.
A second $1 million dollar phase was planned to create a full-size gymnasium and teen center, which would increase the size of the building to 19,000 square feet. The majority of the funding for the first phase was donated by the Darden restaurant company and named after the retired chairman Joe R. Lee Cain.
