OCI Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services for an interior renovation of the fine dining restaurant located on the first floor of Albany House in the Bahamas. The Aviva restaurant features a private chef’s table and champagne bar with dramatic seaside views. Aviva is exceptionally refined and delivers a new standard of dining and service in The Bahamas for gourmet cuisine and specialty wines. The project was designed by Peacock and Lewis Architects and completed in 2011. Albany’s name is inspired by the historic beachside mansion “Albany House” in the heart of the Bahamas community that now houses a fine dining restaurant and oceanside lounge. Originally owned by French filmmaker and Inspector Gadget creator Jean Chalopin, Albany House made history as the site of two movies, most notably the James Bond 007 film Casino Royale.
