OCI Associates, Inc. provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, IT/AV, fire alarm and fire protection engineering design for a new Holiday Inn to be located in the heart of Cape Canaveral. The six-story hotel was planned 125 guest rooms on a 2.7-acre site with surface parking for 140 vehicles. Amenities featured a spacious lobby with seating areas, a fitness center, dining area, meeting rooms, and outdoor pool.
The hotel was planned to serve the local businesses, cruise ship patrons, and Cape Canaveral’s tourist industry. In 2020 design changes were made to rebrand the original hotel to a Cambria.
