Sage Science Center

OCI Associates, Inc. was responsible for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and ITS/AV design engineering for the additions made to the Sage Science Center on Stetson University’s Deland campus. Originally built in the mid-1960’s, the University’s enrollment of science students has increased significantly, and the building was unable to support the increasingly sophisticated equipment and instrumentation being used. The two-story addition features ten hi-tech teaching and research classrooms, one conventional classroom and eight offices for use by the Biology and Chemistry departments. The project doubled the size of the existing Sage Hall Science Center and is now outfitted with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
