Lutgert Hall is a four-story building that sits prominently at the university’s front entrance, complete with conference rooms, case study rooms, an executive training room, thirteen classrooms, a tiered computer classroom and a student lounge. Described as Florida Gulf Coast University’s signature building, the U-shaped building wraps around a central brick-finished protected courtyard area, which opens to the main campus. The design concept was centered around the influences of the global business community, with the objective to create a 21st-century learning environment that is flexible and adaptable to accommodate the changes in business philosophy.
